LOGO DESIGN

$60/hour for logo design work

The final cost of a logo design is dependent upon a) the complexity of a design and b) the number of requested adjustments. Efficient communication is most helpful in keeping the cost of a logo down.

Logos including a color version and a greyscale version usually range between $500 and $1000

$60/hour for alterations made after the final logos have been agreed upon and sent

Work flow:

First round: sketches #1 Developing a logo design begins with an initial round of sketches. These are often done by hand, scanned into the computer and text elements applied digitally. These will be greyscale. The number of sketches depend on the number and complexity of the requested design elements. Often the first round of sketches is about 16 individual designs. The first round of sketches, as well as all following documents, will be sent as PDFs.

Second round: sketches #2 After feedback from the client, a second round of sketches will be developed.

Third round: Designs After feedback from the client, a third round of sketches will be developed. The designs are often translated into a digital format (vector graphic). At this point the elements are mostly in their final form but can be rearranged, modified and the color changed.

Final adjustments: After the third round, there will likely be a few rounds of final design adjustments.
